2024 NFL Draft Countdown Clock

In the lead up to the 2024 NFL Draft, Detroit did not just get ready. The city put it on display. More than two years before draft week, a massive NFL Draft countdown clock rose near Campus Martius, signaling to locals and visitors alike that something big was coming.

Display Group partnered with the NFL and the Detroit Sports Commission to bring the countdown clock to life. Our Custom Fabrication team worked from early concepts through final installation, turning an idea into a large scale public structure built to live outdoors in the heart of downtown. The process involved engineering for wind and weather, structural planning, material testing, fabrication, finishing, and careful coordination with city partners to install it safely and on schedule.

Built in our shop and assembled on site, the clock became a visual focal point and a symbol of anticipation across the city. It reflected not only the excitement around the Draft, but the pride Detroit takes in hosting major national events.
