Rocket Mortgage Classic Dream Nine - A PGA TOUR® Event
The Rocket Mortgage Classic is one of the PGA Tour’s marquee summer stops, and the 2026 tournament at Detroit Golf Club gave Display Group the opportunity to do something we don’t often get to do at a professional golf event: build a miniature golf course.
In partnership with creative agencies Supper and No Hot Ashes, Display Group designed and built the Rocket Dream Nine, a custom nine-hole installation spread across three fan activation sites on the grounds. Each zone celebrated a distinct piece of Detroit’s identity.
The Music of Detroit honored the city’s legendary sound and recording legacy. The Food of Detroit paid homage to local staples including Coney Islands, Detroit-style pizza, and Vernor’s Boston Coolers. The Design of Detroit celebrated the city’s architectural heritage and creative culture.
The three zones were positioned at the No. 2 green, No. 5 tee, and No. 11 green, weaving the experience throughout the PGA tournament grounds and giving fans something to engage with between rounds all week long.
